Find out where the night actually is. Before you go.

Laila shows the bars, dance bars and clubs around you, and for each one what is happening right now: how many people are there, and who. Not reviews from last month. Tonight.

Every night starts the same way

The question nobody in the group chat can answer

Four friends standing under a streetlight on a dark corner, each looking at their phone

Where are we going?

Four people on a corner, four phones, no answer.

A bar at eleven at night with every chair empty and one bartender behind the counter

Arrived. Empty.

The place everyone recommended, on the one night nobody came.

Someone lying on a sofa in a dark room, face lit by a phone screen

47 messages, zero decisions.

The group chat can tell you what people think. It cannot tell you where they are. Laila can.

What Laila does

Live numbers, not old opinions

Every venue in Laila shows what is true right now, from the people who are actually there. Everything below that happens tonight is free.

A packed bar seen from the doorway, dozens of people between the door and the counter

How many people are there, right now

Every venue shows the number of people checked in at this moment, the gender mix and the age mix, and a one-line vibe: "Busy · mostly 25-29 · fairly even mix." Numbers, not reviews.

A busy Tel Aviv street at night, wet after rain, lit by bar neon and streetlights

The map of tonight

Bars, dance bars, clubs, pubs, rooftops and live music around you, sorted by distance. Filter by type, by open now and by busy now. Map or list, your choice.

Three friends in the back seat of a taxi at night, deciding where to go

Decide before you drive

Switch to any city in Israel and see the same live numbers as if you were standing on its streets. Plan the night from the sofa, or from the back of the taxi.

A group of friends laughing around a wooden table in a bar

A check-in that takes one tap

About a minute and a half after you walk into a venue, Laila asks whether to check you in. One tap and you are in the room. Checking out happens by itself when you leave, and a check-in expires after four hours, so nobody who went home is still being counted.

The room's own chat

Everyone checked in at a venue shares one chat for the night. Is there a queue? Who is playing? Is there room upstairs? Ask the people who are already inside. A translate button keeps the room in one conversation across four languages.

One message until they reply

You can send one direct message to someone at the same venue. If they reply, the conversation opens. If they don't, that's it: not in an hour, not tomorrow. It is the rule that keeps Laila safe for everyone, and it is never for sale.

Laila+

Your next move, suggested

Ask where to go next and Laila answers with one venue and the reason, grounded in live crowds, each venue's usual week and where your friends are. When your spot is fading and a better one is filling up nearby, it tells you it is time to move.

Built for privacy

Crowd numbers are aggregates, and under five people the breakdown is hidden. Nobody sees your phone number, your exact age or your exact location. Laila keeps no history of your movements, only the check-ins you chose, and you can leave the counts at any time.

Friends, when you want them

Add friends and, if you both choose to share, see where each other checked in tonight. Sharing is off by default and separate for every person.

FAQ

Questions people ask before their first night

Is Laila free?

Yes. Everything that happens tonight is free: the map, the live head-counts, check-in, the venue chat, direct messages, friends, reporting and blocking. Laila+ is an optional subscription (or a 24-hour night pass) that adds planning features: the live roster of who is here, each venue's typical week, crowd filters, busiest-first ordering and next-move suggestions.

Where does Laila work?

All over Israel. Every city's bars, dance bars and clubs are in Laila, and you can browse any city from anywhere in the world; the live numbers are the same whether you are on the street or on the sofa. The more people go out with Laila in a city, the fuller its picture.

How does Laila know how many people are in a venue?

From check-ins. When you are inside a venue and accept the check-in, you become one anonymous +1 in its live count, together with your gender and age band. That is the only source. No cameras, no Wi-Fi tracking, no data bought from anyone. Below five people a venue shows only the total, never the breakdown.

Does Laila track my location all the time?

No. To notice that you arrived at a venue with the app closed, Laila asks for the "allow all the time" location permission, with an explanation, and you can refuse it: arrival detection then works whenever the app is open, and you can always check in by hand. Your position is compared with the venues around you on the phone; Laila keeps no history of where you have been, only the check-ins you chose to make.

Who can see me?

By default, nobody sees you as a person: you are part of a venue's aggregate numbers. Your display name and photo appear in the venue chat when you post there, and on the "who's here" roster, which is visible only to Laila+ members who are checked in at the same venue as you. You can exclude yourself from the counts at any time in your profile's privacy section.

What is the one-message rule?

From a venue's chat you can send one direct message to someone who is also checked in there. Until they reply, you cannot send another - not after an hour, not tomorrow. If they reply, the conversation opens for both of you. Either side can decline or block, which closes the thread for good. This rule is what keeps Laila safe, and no plan removes it.

Do I have to be 18?

Yes. Laila is for adults, and you confirm you are 18 or older when you sign in. Venues keep their own entry policies, which Laila does not change.

How do I cancel Laila+?

Subscriptions are managed by the store you bought them from: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal and you keep Laila+ until the end of the period you paid for. The night pass is a one-time purchase that simply ends after 24 hours. Your rights under the Consumer Protection Law, and how to exercise them, are on the cancellation page.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: You → Account → Delete account. Everything about you is removed: profile, check-ins, messages, friends and any Laila+ purchase records on our side. The delete-account page describes exactly what is deleted, what is kept for legal reasons, and how to ask by email if you no longer have the app.

Which languages does Laila speak?

Hebrew, English, Russian and Arabic, with full right-to-left layout in Hebrew and Arabic, and a translate button in every chat so one room can hold all four.

I run a bar. How do I claim it?

Write to us with the venue name and your role, and we will send the claim form. Once verified, you get Laila for venues: your live numbers and typical week, and the ability to publish offers and events. Verification takes a few days.

Is Laila accessible?

The app works with VoiceOver and TalkBack, respects the system text size, shows every number as a number and not only as a colour, and ships in four languages. This site has an accessibility menu (bottom corner) for text size, contrast, links, fonts and motion. The full accessibility statement, our known limitations and the accessibility coordinator's address are on the accessibility page.
