Accessibility statement

Under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013. Last reviewed 4 September 2026.

Laila is meant to be usable by everyone who goes out. The app and these pages are built to follow Israeli Standard 5568 (WCAG 2.0 at level AA) and the platform accessibility guidelines of iOS and Android.

What the app does

• Works with VoiceOver (iOS) and TalkBack (Android): controls are labelled, and the crowd bars announce their counts rather than relying on colour alone.
• Respects the system text size and bold-text settings.
• Colours for busyness and crowd mix are chosen to stay distinguishable with the common forms of colour blindness, and every value is also shown as a number.
• Ships in English, Hebrew, Russian and Arabic, with full right-to-left layout.
• Light and dark themes, following the system setting.
• These legal pages use plain HTML with no scripts, so they work with any assistive technology and at any zoom level.

Known limitations

• The map is provided by Google Maps and inherits its accessibility behaviour; every venue on it is also reachable from the venue list.
• The in-app photo editor (crop, text, stickers) is only partly usable with a screen reader. Choosing a photo without editing it is fully supported.
